OP26 side event – Youth and decision-makers discuss nature, energy, water, and sustainability in the global economy

Publié le :

This November, leaders from around the world are negotiating at COP26 in Glasgow, UK, possible actions to address the climate crisis at the global scale. On 11th November, the FTAO will be taking part in a COP26 side debate on how to make decision-making on sustainability policies more participatory, particularly when it comes to youth. The European Economic and Social Committee will be hosting us and other organisations at the EU Pavilion. Four youth representatives, including Fairtrade Youth Ambassador and coffee producer from Malawi Rachel Banda, will have the opportunity to ask questions to EU and UN policymakers.
